Delegation is the art of getting someone else to do the job. It’s a critical leadership skill, but also one of the most misunderstood and misused. Do you believe if you want a job done right, you must do it yourself? Or perhaps you believe that by the time you tell someone else to do it, it could already have been done. The art of effective delegation isn’t easy. In fact, it can be excruciatingly painful. But if you want to be a successful leader, you must feel comfortable empowering people.
